Things..

There were times when things went smoothly and there were times it didn't. I think at this moment in time, i'd say 70%-30% is going my way. Usually it'll put a smile on my face but somehow, for a fuck up unknown reason.. I don't know why.

For your info, we got a booth in the up coming Mean Machine show in Penang. That's great. My Car is out of the garage, that's even better news. My personal life is great - that's the best news! ... but... somehow i feel like a fish out of water - mentally that is. Why...?!?

Fuck man... i really gotta pull my shit together.

Astonishing...

Have u ever got caught in a heavy storm right in the middle of the night? Damn.. i was held up in d car for almost 40 mins because of a heavy thunderstorm. Mind u, whomever said that lightning never strikes twice must have been fried like fuck. For the first time in many decades, i was afraid of the lightning. I reclined the seats while waiting it out and witnessed first hand how violent it was... Damn! After the 40th minute, i just couldnt wait anymore and rushed towards the gate. Fortunately, i'm still here writing this blog, else i would have been fried.

Came back from a meeting with the investors of AJ. Guys, trust me.. AJ will be where i want it to be soon enough :)

Also, went to check on Garfield. Apparently the A33 Cefiro fan didnt work too well. Still a high temp of 95 on cruising and occasional boosting. According to my friend Khuan, he said we have to run direct to ACC and not let Haltech control it. He had an E11 before, it's the same thing but when they wired it to ACC... VIOLA! problem solved.

Having said that, our big brother at 'my usual spot' said no. He'll just program the haltech to turn on the fan at a lower temp...

I hope it works... Sigh...

The R35, Honda Accord and The BMW E34 V8

The more i think of it.. the more hooked i am to one. I was dwelling on Jeremy Clarkson's review on the R35. I actually watched it 3x. I'm so bloody hooked on one. Eventhough i sat in one driven by Leo but he wasn't pushing it. Hence, i wasn't feeling the 'rush' so to speak. Sigh.. When am i gonna be able to get one. I was just thinking, even if i had kept all the money i threw into the 'orange' car of mine and sold all the cars i have, i'm still short of ALOT OF MONEY to get one. DAMN!
Anyway, I drove the accord today. 2.2 iVtec. It's astonishing. The torque is nothing compared to forced induction but the rev is so damn willing. I notice the mid range of the engine is marvellous but it runs out of breath the moment u hit 5,000rpm. Again, nothing compared to what Leo has shown me in his 3 liter V6 Accord.

Sometimes, eventhough i really love all my friends, especially close ones, but at times i hate that guy.... bwahahahaha

Yesterday, i got my car back from BM World. Yep, as expected, it costed me a bomb. Still, i didnt manage to get the brand of the lower arm but the logo looks like a caged bird or some sort. After spending the money, the car doesn't shake doesn't rattle, infact, it's quite smooth. The thing is, i told them the sensors kept bleeping that the rear lights and license plate fails. They changed the bulbs, gave me an enormous figure for the bulbs and Guess what? after 100meter of driving, DING.. License Plate Failure .. Ding, Rear light failure.

I came down in the middle of a traffic jam and looked the lights, they were working! so.. wtf? i give up. Then, i remember SPECIFICALLY told them to look into the irritating ABS lights that comes up occassionally. Guess what? Again, after 15 mins of driving.. IT WAS THERE!!!

My question is, changing 2 arms is something any workshops can do but good wiring or systems diagnostics are something not everyone can do. Especially on BMWs. So if they were so fuckin pre-occupied with 3 fuckin M3s and not able to look properly into my E34 problems. Why bother saying u'll look into it in the first place? Good help are fucking hard to find and what more are good quality workshops. I just go two words for these fuckers. Fuck OFF.

Immaturity...

Some people are so uptight about the slightest remarks people post about them on the Internet, particularly on facebook. Now, i'd worry if someone accuses me of being with another woman or post pictures of me (of coz they wont find any coz i've taken none of this sort!) with another female but a joking statement about gayness? come on! how d hell would anyone believe you are gay unless, well, unless you really are one!

Eventhough if you are gay, so what? it doesn't mean people will burn u at a stake or u're going straight to hell from the beliefs of your religion. Putting aside what other people think, what u do or your preference in sexuality is totally of your own perogative. So why the sensitivity? That's just plain faggoty! no puns intended... Frankly, it's not that i condone to gayness but seriously, whether u like to take one up your ass or bury your own in others, be it the opposite sex or the bus driver.. WHO THE HELL CARES!

Moreover, your true friends will know the best. Why worry? I've got pple spat on me via the Internet before but basically, one do not have to fret. Why? because those who knows u..KNOWS BETTER! and those who thinks of u any less, are not worth being friends with. Either they are shallow or is simply under the spell of some dark horny wizard... So just Chill! Respect and reputations are earnt, not 'staged'. A well respected person with good reputation takes more than just 1 silly statement to bring him down...

2 words.. GROW UP! ... or rather.. WAKE UP from Disneyland Pal!

Monday....1st Half..

Well, i survived the 1st half of Monday. Fortunately, again, no systems were down. Back in the early days when i joined "The Company", the systems and network were highly unstable. It's like opening a can of shaked up coke. U'll never know whether it'll blow or not. Years has past and since then, things has stabilized. It's not just something that stabilizes itself but it's a result of careful planning, hard work, good team work and well laid out implementation. Also, a big shout out to all my crew members "Thank you!"

This morning, i dropped off the E34 to BM World. I hope the guys gonna work their miracles on the car again. Problem with BMW E34s is that the upper and lower arm always wears off fast. Previously, without knowing the difference, i bought a set of LUCAS lower arms. It worn off within 6 months. Mind u, it aint cheap. Apparently, there's this brand called "Something" la.. forgot... i'll edit this later to put it up.

They are the OEM manufacturers for these arms but they are also selling it on their own, hence cheaper price but basically the same thing. I'm getting it installed. The rear brakes whines whenever i reverse, so this gotta be fixed too.
Hopefully, it wont cost a bomb. I'm kinda tight on cash right now too.

Last nite, AJ was suspended. Apparently, after uploading the lingerie series, the bandwitdh was totally blown away. Good for us, fucked for the resellers. I got Shawn to call up the resellers and fuck their asses with a 22" sized spannar sideways. They got it up again. I must say, good service from them eh?

Local Mags

Recently, i've been buying lotsa books and magazine. Well, better spend it on expanding my knowledge especially when it's tax deductable. I haven't been buying local mags for a long time. A LOONGG.. LOOOOOOONGG time.. Infact, i have forgotten why i've stopped buying local car mags.

Today, i saw this local mag with GOOD YEAR drift cars there. I recently started a topic on drift.com.my. It was about this event we had in sunway. Posted some car pics there. That itself, started a fire. Someone claiming how much horsepower the car got and doubts came .. soon it went into a frenzy.

I bought that magazine hoping to get a better angle on what's under the hood. Guess what? that article aside. I had to go through endless ADVERTISEMENTS just to reach the INDEX page. That made me wonder how many pages of ads they have there vs the pages of the magazine. So i counted. U go Guess....

1. Ads : 141 pages
2. Total pages of the entire magazine : 241 pages

That means, it's only 100 pages of pictures and write ups. That itself doesn't count the 'review' sections. Review sections are actually 'more detailed' advertisements. No fucking wonder some people are damn fuckin rich nowadays.

After being on a healthy dosage of foreign car mags, i find these local mags are just 'not up to standards'. It's like "Let's just get the job done and take the consumer's money". Even the write up itself lacks 'the heart' or the 'passion' ... like what my friends put it "fuckin a dead fish whore"

No puns intended for anyone ok? chill...

Aahhh.. Saturday,

Woke up late this morning. Slept like a motherfucking pig till 10.30am. My son was playing horse riding on my large ass belly and woke me up. Played with him for a short while before i headed out to run my errands.

It was an enjoyable day. Spent alot of time with my wife and kid.

I'm really grateful Ivan actually took the trouble to take my car from my house and got the walbro fuel pumps installed. Else i'd have to drive it down and eat into my 'family time'. After all was done, he was so nice to drive it back to my place. Really appreciate his efforts. Friends like these are hard to find.

Oh yeah, in the afternoon we were chilling out in Gardens, Midvalley. There was these few blokes who were checking out my wife as if they were wearing x-ray goggles. I really hope they bang a wall or walk into a bottomless pit or something. Fuckin dick faced jack-asses... sheesh!

Then, in the evening, i went over to the place where my 'other car' is usually sent to. Basket, it was still parked there un-touched. Frankly, if i can do it myself, i'd gotten it done within 30 mins. To me i think it's a simple job. Ok, maybe 120mins. I got fat hands... hence may take more time.. but .. IT WAS STILL THERE! Project failure= FUCK! Project Delay = FUCK x 3!

Sigh.. I still do not know if the A33 fans will work but according to all the people whom has used it says it works! rough trashing = 93'C . Jam and idling = 79'C.

I'm praying very hard now.

Oh, i still havent figured out what to do with the Fuck-A-Lite fans.

There's so many things i have in mind.. but so little time to do it.. not to mention, MONEY! The only other thing that made me happy other than spending quality time with my family today was, when i passed by Zaibi Motors, i saw the white R35 there. I could have sworn it was winking at me... ;) it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over my pay grade to get one... but, i might get Leo's bro Aaron to give me a ride in the car one more time to get 'the feelings' refreshed again to continue the article...

I still cant wait till december comes. Buds like Leo will be back. I double checked with Russel, he'll be around too. Hence.. comes December, WE WILL BURN THE STREETS OF KL! Picture this,

1. Supra JZA80 - 6xxbhp
2. Russ' Bayside Blue GTR34 - ???bhp
3. Leo's White GTR34 - 5xxbhp (upgrade project in the pipeline, so it'll be that figure by then)
4. Monster Pit's R32
5. Wern Shern's GTR34 - 5xxbhp
6. Eugene's FD3s - 3xxbhp
7. CB's FD3s - 3xxbhp
8. Shawn's A31 Cefiro - 3xxbhp (upgrade project in the pipeline, so it'll be that figure by then)
9. Joe Wong's scooby...

All these cars screaming down the road...tearing the horizon... ahh... heaven!

It's still months to go...

Electro Fan - The failure.....

It really saddens me whenever any project fails. These projects, be it work or car projects, whenit fails, it always makes me wanna go grab a machete go out and start slashing any dick faced dude i see. Hey, u'd be surprised how many dudes in Sunway looks like a dick - no puns intended.

I bought a set of flexalite fans for my car. Got it installed and phooweeee the car really felt so much more fun... the fuck part was, the water temp levels were kinda high. I floored it on 1st then to 2nd.. by the time i shifted to 3rd it was already hitting 97' C. Fuck that is high. To some they say "hey, it's ok wannn". My ass it's ok. I was doing mid 80's with the old fan.

All I can say is... Fuck!

I made a call to several friends who were driving the same car as I am, they just called me a donkey and told me the same thing : Go for the Nissan Cefiro A33 electric fans. They work like a charm! but only 1 dick asked me to go for Billion Fan. Which costs 3x the price of A33 fans but the saddest part was, if these 2 fuckin solution works, they both are cheaper than my fuckin flexalite. They costed me a whop-do-fucking RM900 bucks!

Made several calls to my sources and finally go the fan. Passed it to my 'ever reliable' mechanic cum friend immediately....

I've got my fingers crossed all day and night.....

p.s the fan showed here was installed on a mustang - not my car

Drifting...??

I went over to Under5 Performance Garage yesterday. I was there to shoot 2 drift cars. Tan Tat Wei's Corolla and Ah Boy's AE86. Several years back I had some 'issues' with Alan but as years past, frankly, i have forgotten what was it actually about. Really.. i cant really remember but I do on abit of this and that but vaguely.

Anyhow, that was in the past.

I cant put too much details about the shoot as it'll be posted in autojunctions.com but all i can say is, it's damn good stuff! the machines were great and the skills of these drivers were simply magnificent!

There was one part, i was in d car with ah boy while he was driving it for a re-fueling session. The car was really just bare essentials, no sound proofing whatsoever. I felt stressed. Don't really know why but the clanking, cronking and grinding of straight cut gears really got to me. Kinda makes me think, is it really worth making a track car? I mean, i had plans to do one with Monster Pit but.... shit man.. after this, i really gotta think twice...

Oh yeah, Ivan and Shawn was fuckin around with the A31. I told Shawn that it's different drifting a car than sitting on d passenger seat next to a person drifting. He never listens. Ended up, he told me it was like having his brain fucked by a hundred benglas... Serves him right for never listening to good advise!

After the session... Went home, showered and dropped dead. Fuck man.. i'm really getting old. Sorry to the guys i promised to show up for tea session. . .. Oh yeah, was suppose to go JSOC meet too but.. ah well.. fuck it.. bwahahha

Life in KL - as it is today

It's funny. This Singapore friend of mine sent me a mail asking if i would be free to meet up end of the month as she'll be coming up with her husband and kid. She would like meet up to see how i'm doing. So far nothing funny eh? Guess what? She popped the question:

"Hey, how are things in KL? I mean with all the hyped up Politics and all?"

Wtf? is it that bad to people outside of our country? Everything's fine here. We still chill out at mamak stalls. They still over charge us for a glass of plain water and basically, well, everything's still the same.

A point to note though, i do not know if it's due to the down turn of economy reasons or what, this recent Raya, i felt it was abit quiet. Not as lively as the previous ones. Oh well, irregardless of that, we still had our days off. EVENTHOUGH WE CAME BACK OFFICE TO WORK ON THE SECOND DAY OF RAYA!

Deepavali's coming.. another day off... YIPPEEE!

R35 Article

U know, quite some time back (2 months ago? or was it 3...) we did a shoot and write up on Skylines. R32 all d way up to R35. It was amazing. The feeling was really amazing. These machines were designed to race, perform and thrill the heck outta you.

IT DID THE JOB VERY WELL.

Problem is, i do not know if age is catching up but i tend to be forgetting things quite easily. I heard people on hypertension medication kinda has this tedency but... I don't know.. I just dont know.. hopefully they are wrong.

I can still remember how the 32, 33, and 34 feels like but i totally forgotten about how the R35 feels like. I stare blankly at the 35's pics and watched the video endlessly but i just cant write. I know wat's writer's block but this is plain silly.

Maybe i should ask Aaron out to the showroom. Wack him unconcious, grab the R35 keys and drive it away for a spin. The adrenalin rush should unclog those memory circuits i have between my ears....

but... WHY!??!? WHY of all the cars that i've forgotten... IT HAD TO BE THE R35!

FRIDAY!! IT'S A FRIIIDAAYYY

Well, finally Friday's here. So what am i to do? Go JSOC meet or Chill with Monster Pit Crews? I think the choice is quite obvious. Kinda suck to be Leonard now.. so far away. Though his car has turbos the size of JET engines, he cant travel back and forth to chill with us on our usual TT sessions.. LEO! DONT WORRY! I'LL SNAP PICS OF THE DELICIOUS FOOD WE EAT OK?!

I seriously do not know why people even bother with JSOC TT. U pay 50 bucks annually to an unregistered car club, just to sit and have drinks with them. Occasionally u go illegal drag sessions with them at certain dark roads and risk being caught by cops. Setting that aside, what do u get? just to be able to sit with guys who has 'sports' cars? dat's just bullshit...

Anyway, enuff of 'craps'. This coming evening, i've got an appointment with 5 drift cars. I'm gonna be shooting it and filming their practise rounds. Apparently they'll be tweaking it for the upcoming drift event in A'Famosa Melaka. It's gonna be an exciting evening.

Shitty part is, i'll be abandoning my wife and kid at home again. That's really crappy. U know, every now and then when i'm out doing this kinda stuff, the vision of my kid or wife pops into my mind and then it's like someone just dropped a ton bricks inside my chest... That's just damn bad. Eventhough i spend as much time as i could with them during the week nights and weekends, it's just never enough!

Sigh.. u guys will understand if u're a dad or husband... A RESPONSIBLE ONE!

Yo Wassap Ya'all!

This is my first post. I had to create one to dump all the profound dumbness I witnessed around me. I cant post it in my 'other' sites as it may reflect it as a dumb ass site....
